I bring over a decade clinical experience helping, healing, and caring for clients. Life's greatest battles are fought within the silent chambers of our own souls. You don't have to struggle in silence.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, National Certified and Board Approved Supervisor for the State of Maryland. I received both Master's and Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Agency Counseling and Psychology from North Carolina A&T State University. During my graduate counseling experience I have co-facilitated court ordered sex offenders and facilitated psycho-educational groups for family members. Upon completing my Master's Degree I relocated to Maryland providing psychiatric rehabilitation services and care coordination to at risk youth in Montgomery County. I led a clinical outpatient mental health facility, as a Clinical Manager and Approved Clinical Supervisor for License Graduate Professional Counselors, working with all ages from adults to adolescents with severe and persistent mental illness. I am integrative in my orientation and offer Cognitive Behavior Therapy approach to individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma grief/loss, couples and blended family issues. My passion for what I do has offered many of my clients the one thing they seek when we begin our journey together, new-found hope.
